Celebrations of Learning

Every semester at Welby students get the opportunity to show off all the amazing things they have learned to their families in what we call a Celebration of Learning! The main goal is for students to be able to articulate what they learned and how they met the standards they needed for their grade level.

Depending on the grade-level, some celebrations are created independently, in small-groups, or even as a whole class! Our favorite thing about these events is that students get to present their learning to an audience outside of their classroom and get to see the hard work their peers have put into their presentations. 

Each grade level decides when their first Celebration of Learning will be, so be on the lookout for information coming home! The Spring Celebrations of Learning are a whole school event and will take place on May 1st from 1:30pm to 2:15pm.
